Regular Season Round 1: Gimbasket WRC - WKK Wroclaw 90-87

Gimbasket WRC used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Wroclaw 90-87 on Saturday night. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Gimbasket WRC forced 19 WKK Wroclaw turnovers. Quite impressive performance for forward Przemyslaw Gworek (195-90) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jakub Kobel (184-98) answered with 17 points, 9 assists and 7 steals and Patryk Wilk (195-97) added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Five WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Gimbasket WRC will face Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. WKK Wroclaw will play at home against Rawia (#3) and hope to win that game.
