Regular Season Round 18: Osasco B. - XV Piracicaba 95-60

Date: September 24, 2016
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Osasco B. (10-7) crushed at home 9th ranked XV Piracicaba (4-14) 95-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Osasco B. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Osasco B. outrebounded XV Piracicaba 40-29 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by XV Piracicaba's players. Naturalized Italian point guard Thiago Aleo (188-89) notched 26 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) supported him with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Osasco B. players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by Fransergio Marques (190-81) did not help to save the game for XV Piracicaba. Guard Will Evangelista (185-84) added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osasco B. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Paulistano. Loser XV Piracicaba dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost.
