Regular Season Round 1: Visby - Norrkoping 61-68

Very significant was Norrkoping Dolphins' 68-61 road victory against Visby Ladies. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-9. But Visby Ladies won second period 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Finnish center Sofia Pelander (192-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and guard Lovisa Hjern (175-99) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. American forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and the other American import guard Taylor Gault (173-93, college: UALR) added 17 points respectively for Visby Ladies in the defeat. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against KFUM Ostersund at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Visby Ladies will play against Mark (#2) in Kinna to get more than just one victory in their record.
