Regular Season Round 2: CFBB - Toulouse 63-69

Rather expected game in Paris where CFBB (0-2) was defeated by Toulouse (2-0) 69-63. It looked good early as CFBB took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Toulouse had a 19-15 second period charge getting the lead and CFBB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-69. Senegalese power forward Oumou Toure (190-88, agency: Comsport) notched 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Croatian center Emilija Podrug (190-79) supported her with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by center Nabala Fofana (186-0) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Guard Kenza Salgues (174-0) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Toulouse's next round opponent will be Reims (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Bretagne Basket and hope to win that game.
