Regular Season Round 2: Arras - SIG 56-52

The game in Arras was also quite interesting. SIG (1-1) played at the court of Arras (1-1). Arras managed to secure a 4-point victory 56-52 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SIG won fourth quarter 11-8. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Aminata Konate (169-90) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Center Celine Schmitt-Sender (185-80) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Margot Bienvenu (183-97) scored 10 points. Arras will meet Roche (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SIG will play against Aulnoye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
