But Legia W-wa was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Poznan 64-60 on Sunday night. The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 24-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Biofarm PZN made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) stepped up and scored 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) chipped in 12 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!). At the losing side Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-89) responded with 11 points and power forward Tomasz Andrzejewski (204-79) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Biofarm PZN will face Notec Inowr. (#3) in Inowroclaw in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Legia W-wa will play on the road against Astoria Bydg. (#9) in Bydgoszcz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
