Very predictable result in Lublin where Polish AZS UMCS (2-1) smashed Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk (0-3) 75-38 on Sunday. The game without a history. AZS UMCS led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tsmoki-Minsk to just 7 points in second quarter. AZS UMCS held Tsmoki-Minsk to an opponent 23.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Tsmoki-Minsk 48-28 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Nigerian forward Uju Ugoka (185-93, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Australian forward Tess Madgen (180-90) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four AZS UMCS players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Viktoriya Hasper (192-88) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds and forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
