Regular Season Round 2: Quilmes MP - Hispano Am. 83-68

Very predictable result when Quilmes MP (2-1) won against Hispano Am. (0-3) in Mar del Plata 83-68. The game was mostly controlled by Quilmes MP. Hispano Am. was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nigeria-Canadian swingman Olumuyiwa Famutimi (198-84, college: Arkansas) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Eric Flor (186-93) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside, agency: SPORTlab Agency) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Gonzalo Torres (202-94) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Quilmes MP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hispano Am. will play at home against Penarol (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
