Very expected game when GECR Indalo (1-2) lost to Argentino (1-2) in Junin 73-87. The game was mostly controlled by Argentino. GECR Indalo was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Argentino players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by GECR Indalo's players. American guard Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider, agency: DTMones) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Chaz Crawford (207-84, college: Drexel, agency: DTMones) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Argentino's coach Eduardo Japez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180-88) responded with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Carlos Schattmann (193-87) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Argentino will play against Obras Basket (#9) in Buenos Aires in the next round. GECR Indalo will play on the road against Obras Basket in Buenos Aires to get more than just one victory in their record.
