Regular Season Round 1: Nowa Sol - Sudety 55-88

Nowa Sol was not able to use a home court advantage and was rolled over by the opponent from Jelenia Gora 88-55 on Wednesday night. Sudety forced 26 Nowa Sol turnovers. Quite impressive performance for guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Jakub Der (192-96, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 16 points and point guard Adrian Krawczyk (186-95) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Nowa Sol. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sudety will face Kalisz (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Nowa Sol will play against Stal II Ostrow and hope to win that game.
