Regular Season Round 2: Alvik Basket - Telge 72-61

Date: September 29, 2016
There was no surprise in Stockholm where Telge (0-2) was defeated by Alvik Basket (1-0) 72-61 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Alvik Basket. Telge was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was point guard Klara Lundquist (171-99) who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Paula Juhlin (184-91) chipped in 7 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Portia Durrett (185-92, college: Oklahoma) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Lina Claesson (170-97) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Alvik Basket will face Visby Ladies (#10) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Telge will play against Udominate and hope to win that game.
