Regular Season Round 3: Ryukyu GK - Shiga L-Stars 59-56

Ryukyu GK used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Shiga 59-56 on Saturday night. Shiga L-Stars were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great evening for American power forward Lamont Hamilton (208-84, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) helped adding 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was center Samba Faye (205-87) with 10 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Daichi Tanaka (183-89) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ryukyu GK will face again Shiga L-Stars (#6) at home in the next round.
