Regular Season Round 2: Sudety - Otmuchow 61-60

Everything went according to plan in Jelenia Gora where Sudety (2-0) edged Otmuchow (0-2) 61-60 on Saturday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 18-9. But Otmuchow won third quarter 19-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Mikolaj Serbakowski (182-96) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Jaroslaw Wilusz (200-85) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Artur Barycza (195-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Sudety will face Stal II Ostrow (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Otmuchow will play against Slask (#2) and hope to win that game.
