Regular Season Round 3: Kagoshima - Kagawa FA 78-64

Kagoshima used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Takamatsu 78-64 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-64. Kagoshima forced 19 Kagawa FA turnovers. It was a good game for American-Panamanian forward Tymell Murphy (196-90, college: FIU) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian center Chad Posthumus (211-91, college: Morehead St.) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Jamaica power forward Adrian Forbes (211-88, college: Auburn, agency: Haylett Sports) added 9 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kagoshima will face again Kagawa FA (#6) in Takamatsu in the next round.
