Regular Season Round 2: Hoybraten - Gimle Pride 66-62

Hoybraten used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Bergen 66-62. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-15. But Gimle Pride won second period 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Sigrid Davidsen (185-95) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Kosovan guard Flaka Kelmendi (165-98) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Hoybraten players scored in double figures. Forward Birte Hegrenaes (177-88) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ingrid Gjerdevik (169-92) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hoybraten will play against Asker in Rykkinn in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimle Pride's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bergen Bergen.
