Regular Season Round 3: Tokyo Z - Toyotsu FE 60-73

We should not miss a road victory of Toyotsu FE (2-1) over Tokyo Z (1-2) 73-60. The game was mostly controlled by Toyotsu FE. Tokyo Z was better in fourth quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toyotsu FE dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Z's 28. The best player for the winners was Nigeria center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Yuto Otsuka (188-90) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. Toyotsu FE's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Zachary Andrews (203-85, college: Bradley) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and guard Masuko Takumi (186-91) added 13 points respectively. Toyotsu FE will have a break next round. Tokyo Z will play again at home against Toyotsu FE (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
