Regular Season Round 1: RIG Mark - IK Eos 86-97

An interesting game was played in Kinna where IK Eos beat host RIG Mark 97-86 on Saturday evening. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. IK Eos made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side guard Ludvig Johansson (177-98) responded with 17 points and 8 assists and guard Alexander Karras (190-98) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. IK Eos will meet at home Talje Knights (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. RIG Mark will play against Hoganas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
