Regular Season Round 2: Monaco - Chalon 68-52

Date: October 1, 2016
Very important is a road loss of Chalon/Saor (1-1) against Monaco (2-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Chalon/Saor was defeated by Monaco in Monaco 68-52. They outrebounded Chalon/Saor 40-24 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Bulgaria point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) notched 15 points to lead the effort and American Jamal Shuler (191-86) supported him with 10 points. Even 11 points by center Moustapha Fall (218-92) did not help to save the game for Chalon/Saor. American swingman Cameron Clark (201-91, college: Oklahoma) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Monaco will meet Chalons-Reims (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chalon/Saor will play against Olympique Antibes and hope to win that game.
