Regular Season Round 2: Mataro - AEC Collblanc 84-71

Mataro used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from L´Hospitalet 84-71 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Mataro. AEC Collblanc was better in second period 20-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Santiago Serrataco (187-90) who scored 28 points. David Romero (-90) chipped in 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Roger Juan (200-82) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Four AEC Collblanc players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mataro will face Olivar (#12) in Zaragoza in the next round which should be an easy win for them. AEC Collblanc will play against Calvia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
