Very important is a road loss of Araski (1-1) against Gernika (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Araski was crushed by Gernika in Gernika 66-47. The game was mostly controlled by Gernika. Araski managed to win fourth quarter 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Margaret Roundtree (183-88, college: Gardner-Webb) added 12 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Gernika will meet Gran Canaria (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Araski will play against Campus Promete (#12) and hope to win that game.
