Regular Season Round 4: Fukushima - Yamagata 88-71

Round 4 most important game was a defeat of Yamagata (2-2). They were defeated by fourth ranked Fukushima (3-1) 88-71 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yamagata. It was a key game for the top position in the league. At the losing side American swingman Seth Tarver (196-88, college: Oregon St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import center Markhuri Sanders-Frison (203-88, college: California) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Yamagata players scored in double figures. Fukushima keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 6 other teams. Yamagata at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Cyberdyne IR. Yamagata will play next round against league's leader Cyberdyne IR trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
