Regular Season Round 4: SeaHorses - Nagoya DD 73-78

Another exciting game was played in Kariya between first ranked Diamond Dolphins and one of their biggest challengers Aishin Sea Horses where Diamond Dolphins (3-1) beat Aishin Sea Horses (2-2) on the road 78-73. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 25-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Diamond Dolphins made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international center JR Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Aishin Sea Horses. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Diamond Dolphins have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-1 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Aishin Sea Horses at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. Diamond Dolphins will play against league's second-placed Osaka Evessa at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
