The game in Oslo supposed to be also quite interesting. Kongsberg (2-0) played at the court of Persbraten (0-2). Kongsberg smashed Persbraten 78-50 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-50. Kongsberg dominated on the defensive end, holding Persbraten to just 6 points in second quarter. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Kongsberg forced 26 Persbraten turnovers. Guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) notched 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American-German guard C.J. Oldham (203-91, college: Gannon) supported him with 7 points and 14 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by Lithuania forward Marius Puzaras (194-83) did not help to save the game for Persbraten. Swedish guard Aron Furstenberg (192-88) added 5 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kongsberg will meet at home Ammerud Bskt (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Persbraten will have a break next round.
