Very expected game when 6th ranked Hokkaido L. (1-3) was defeated on the road by second ranked Sendai 89ers (3-1) 72-64 on Sunday. The game without a history. Sendai 89ers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sendai 89ers outrebounded Hokkaido L. 51-30 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners.
