Penarol (4-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat Hispano Am. (0-4) in Rio Gallegos 78-72. Hispano Am. was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Penarol, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international center Roberto Acuna (208-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds.
