Regular Season Round 1: Kraljevo - Triglav 54-57

Another exciting game for Slovenia Triglav (1-0) which played on the court of Serbian ZKK Kraljevo (0-1). Triglav eked out just a narrow 3-points road win over ZKK Kraljevo 57-54. ZKK Kraljevo was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. The guests were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 11-7 run, which allowed them to win the game. Triglav dominated on the defensive end, holding ZKK Kraljevo to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Swingman Ziva Zdolsek (178-89) stepped up and scored 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Sandra Jevtovic (187-93) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side guard Tamara Bajic (175-87) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and guard Aleksandra Katic (172-87, college: Brown) scored 17 points. Triglav will play against Partizan (#5) in Beograd in the next round. ZKK Kraljevo will play on the road against Play Off in Sarajevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
