An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Parana. Second ranked San Martin Corrientes faced top-ranked Echague. Guests from Corrientes (3-1) defeated host Echague (3-1) 95-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Echague. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-77. It was a great shooting night for San Martin Corrientes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Inception Sports) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international Federico Aguerre (203-88) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Brandon Davis (198-88, college: Lamar, agency: Pro Sports) produced 17 points and center Franco Barroso (207-94) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five San Martin Corrientes and four Echague players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Martin Corrientes have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory San Martin Corrientes went down to third position (Norte) due to points difference, which they share with Echague and Instituto. San Martin Corrientes will have a break next round. Echague will play again on the road against San Martin Corrientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
