Regular Season Round 2: Good Angels - Slovan 121-32

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Slovan (0-1) in Kosice on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Good Angels (2-0) 121-32. The game without a history. Good Angels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Slovan to just 2 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. Good Angels held Slovan to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.1 percent accuracy of the winners and made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Slovan only scored one point from the stripe. Good Angels forced 29 Slovan turnovers and outrebounded them 54-19 including a 23-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Good Angels is looking forward to face Piestanske C. (#4) in Piestany in the next round. Slovan will play at home against Samorin and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
