Regular Season Round 2: Espoo Team - Kouvot 69-73

Espoo Team was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Kouvot 73-69. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Espoo Team won fourth quarter 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Khadijah Sessions (173-93, college: S.Carolina, agency: Merit Management Group) notched 28 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-93, college: Charleston) supported her with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by American power forward Morgan Bailey (189-92, college: BYU) did not help to save the game for Espoo Team. Swingman Lotta Aaltonen (180-85, college: Coker) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kouvottaret will have a break next round. Espoo Team will play on the road against Peli-Karhut (#4) in Kotka and hope to win that game.
