Regular Season Round 3: Norrkoping - Mark 63-59

The biggest surprise of round 3 in Damligan took place in Norrkoping where host Norrkoping Dolphins (3-0) beat Mark (2-1) 63-59 on Wednesday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Norrkoping Dolphins made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Shanity James (183-93, college: UALR) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lovisa Hjern (175-99) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Keyora Wharry (178-93, college: Colorado St.) who recorded 6 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Elin Ljunggren (185-96) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Mark will play next round against strong Lulea Basket trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Norrkoping Dolphins will try to continue on its current victory against Sallen in Uppsala.
