Rather predictable result in Valmiera where ViA (1-0) defeated LU/BS Riga (1-1) 83-65 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-65. ViA forced 22 LU/BS Riga turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists.
