Regular Season Round 3: Santfeliuenc - Salt 79-52

There was a minor upset when Salt (1-1) was smashed by Santfeliuenc (1-1) in Sant Feliu 79-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Santfeliuenc led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Santfeliuenc forced 19 Salt turnovers. It was a good game for Senegalese center Mouhamadou Diop (212-87) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Alberto Farfan (193-91) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Santfeliuenc players scored in double figures. Center Xavier Montalat (202-92) answered with 15 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and forward Adria Burguet (193-91) added 8 points in the effort for Salt. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
