Universidad de Concepcion's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Venezuela center Jose Juan Bravo (202-86, agency: Pro Sports) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tinguiririca S.F. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Universidad de Concepcion will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tinguiririca S.F. will play on the road against Espanol de Talca (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
