Regular Season Round 2: RIG Mark - Hoganas 99-62

Date: October 8, 2016
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Hoganas (0-2) and RIG Mark (1-1), which took place in Kinna. Hoganas were outleveled in a road game by RIG Mark 99-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. RIG Mark led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. RIG Mark forced 26 Hoganas turnovers. Strangely Hoganas outrebounded RIG Mark 43-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 8 assists. Guard Alexander Karras (190-98) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Lithuania center Martynas Kuksta (203-89) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Lithuania guard Aurimas Bulsis (196-91) added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Hoganas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. RIG Mark will face Huddinge (#5) on the road in the next round. Hoganas will play against IK Eos (#2) and hope to win that game.
