Regular Season Round 2: Wetterbygden - Lobas 97-72

There was no surprise when Lobas (0-2) were outleveled by Wetterbygden (2-0) in Huskvarna 97-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Wetterbygden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Lobas' 40. They outrebounded Lobas 41-30 including 21 on the offensive glass. Wetterbygden looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Bosnian forward Kemal Omerbasic (201-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Albin Hall-Eriksson (187-96) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Kosovan guard Bardhosh Kelmeni (195-98) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lobas. Five Wetterbygden and four Lobas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Wetterbygden will face Koping (#4) on the road in the next round. Lobas will play against Helsingborg (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
