Regular Season Round 4: Souffel - SAP Vaucluse 80-71

Very expected game when 8th ranked SAP Vaucluse (2-2) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Souffelweyersheim (4-0) 80-71 on Saturday. SAP Vaucluse trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 20-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 71-80 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Valentin Correia (192-93) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and DR Congolese-Belgian power forward Ruphin Kayembe (200-92) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Souffelweyersheim players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Deremy Geiger (180-90, college: Idaho, agency: Blacktop Management) responded with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and Lithuania forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) scored 22 points.
