Regular Season Round 2: Rivas Promete - C.Adelantados 55-48

Rivas Promete used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from San Cristobal 55-48 on Saturday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But C.Adelantados won third quarter 18-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Paula Ginzo (187-98) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Lucia Togores (176-96) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. American power forward Aulani Sinclair (186-90, college: Indiana) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Veronica Matoso (185-88) scored 5 points and 14 rebounds. Rivas Promete will face Valencia (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. C.Adelantados will play against Picken Claret (#13) in Valencia and hope to win that game.
