Regular Season Round 3: Zamarat - CREF Hola 52-66

An interesting game took place in Zamora where Zamarat (1-2) was upset on its own court by CREF Hola (2-1) 66-52. The game without a history. CREF Hola led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CREF Hola forced 26 Zamarat turnovers. It was a good game for American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Taysha Pye (175-89, college: William & Mary) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. CREF Hola's coach Antonio Pernas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. DR Congolese forward Chanel Mokango (196-88, college: Mississippi St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zamarat. CREF Hola's next round opponent will be Perfumerias Avenida in Salamanca and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zamarat will play on the road against Gernika (#3) and hope to win that game.
