Basket Landes smashed Tarbes in Mont de Marsan 77-51. The game without a history. Basket Landes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Basket Landes forced 21 Tarbes turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Tarbes' players. The best player for the winners was Spanish swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. American center Cierra Bravard (193-89, college: Florida St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 17 points. Basket Landes' coach Olivier Lafargue felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mali center Astan Dabo (203-92, agency: Comsport) produced 3 points and 15 rebounds and center Elodie Christmann (190-84) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Tarbes will play next round against Villeneuve D'Ascq trying to get back on the winning streak. Basket Landes will try to continue on its current victory against Lattes Montpellier on the road.
