Polonia Leszno (2-1) recorded a loss in Warszawa on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Legia W-wa (2-1) 80-58. The game without a history. Legia W-wa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Polonia Leszno to just 7 points in second quarter. Legia W-wa dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Polonia Leszno's 26. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Polonia Leszno's players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) who led the winners and scored 4 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Power forward Tomasz Andrzejewski (204-79) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) came up with 8 points and 6 assists and power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Polonia Leszno in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Legia W-wa will meet at home Notec Inowr. (#7) in the next round. Polonia Leszno will play against Znicz Basket (#12) and hope to secure a win.
