Regular Season Round 2: Alvik Basket - BG Lulea 73-52

Date: October 9, 2016
No shocking result in a game when Alvik Basket (2-0) crushed BG Lulea (1-2) in Bromma 73-52 on Sunday. The game without a history. Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Alvik Basket forced 25 BG Lulea turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Jacob Andersson (196-89, college: CS San Marcos) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Alvik Basket players scored in double figures. Point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Edvin Tedesjo (202-98) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for BG Lulea. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Alvik Basket will face AIK in Solna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BG Lulea will play on the road against Jamtland II (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
