The game between closely ranked teams ended with Toyota B SR's (2-0) home victory over Aishin Wings (0-2) in Aichi 68-64 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Strangely Aishin Wings outrebounded Toyota B SR 55-31 including a 27-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Sakiko Nomachi (177-87) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Zuozhi Aoyuan (167-91) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Aishin Wings. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
