Regular Season Round 2: Medvescak - Sibenik 81-60

No shocking result in a game when ZKK Medvescak (2-0) crushed Sibenik (0-2) in Zagreb 81-60 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by ZKK Medvescak. Sibenik managed to win fourth quarter 22-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ZKK Medvescak forced 30 Sibenik turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Center Patricija Bura (188-96) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Iva Todoric (174-93) supported her with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Even 22 points and 4 assists by Klaudija Perisa (180-96) did not help to save the game for Sibenik. Mia Vuksic (178-1) added 11 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ZKK Medvescak will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sibenik will play against Ragusa (#2) and hope to win that game.
