Regular Season Round 3: Valencia II - Cartagena 86-64

Valencia-2 used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Cartagena 86-64 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia-2. Cartagena was better in third quarter 18-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for forward David Guardia (200-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Josep Puerto (199-99) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Valencia-2 players scored in double figures. American forward Tylor Wimbish (201, college: Mo.-St.Louis) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and forward Alberto Ballesta (202-95) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Cartagena. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
