Regular Season Round 6: Kagawa FA - Hiroshima D. 63-81

Date: October 9, 2016
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Dragonflies (5-1) beat 5th ranked Kagawa FA (1-5) in Takamatsu 81-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Dragonflies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for American power forward Cameron Ridley (206-93, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) contributed with 5 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Jamaica power forward Adrian Forbes (211-88, college: Auburn, agency: Haylett Sports) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Dragonflies have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Dragonflies will face league's second-placed Shimane Magic at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kagawa FA will play against Orange Vikings in Matsuyama and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
