The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placed Ferrocarril's (4-2) home loss to leader Weber Bahia (5-0) in Buenos Aires 59-69 on Tuesday. Ferrocarril was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Weber Bahia dominated on the defensive end, holding Ferrocarril to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 19 Ferrocarril turnovers. American center Anthony Laveal Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds.
