Undefeated leader Perfumerias Avenida delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked CREF Hola (2-2) 86-47 in Madrid. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CREF Hola. The game without a history. Perfumerias Avenida led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Perfumerias Avenida forced 21 CREF Hola turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Perfumerias Avenida especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international point guard Silvia Dominguez (166-87) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and Serbian Jelena Milovanovic (190-89) who added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Nigeria forward Sarah Imovbioh (188-92, college: S.Carolina) scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perfumerias Avenida have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Girona. CREF Hola at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Perfumerias Avenida will meet at home Mann Filter (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CREF Hola will play against Gernika (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
