Lucenec (1-1) recorded a loss in Komarno. Visitors were defeated by Rieker KN (1-0) 89-71. The former international Roman Vido (204-88) notched 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Kori Babineaux (193-93, college: Jacksonville) supported him with 15 points. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by American center Garrick Sims (203-91, college: Lake Erie) did not help to save the game for Lucenec. His fellow American import forward Aaron Rountree III (203-93, college: Iona) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
