Rather predictable result when first ranked Nishinomiya S. (7-1) defeated on the road 5th ranked Tokyo Excel. (2-6) 81-72 on Friday. Tokyo Excel. trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 25-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-81 at the end of the game. Nishinomiya S. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Excel.'s 36. Nishinomiya S. forced 20 Tokyo Excel. turnovers. It was a great evening for American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tokyo Excel. players scored in double figures. Tokyo Excel.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Nishinomiya S. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row.
