Estrella Berisso used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Buenos Aires 75-69 on Friday night. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 42-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Estrella Berisso dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Berazategui's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for Cuba Anisleidys Galindo (179-89) who helped to win the game recording 28 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Five Berazategui players scored in double figures. Berazategui's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Estrella Berisso are looking forward to face Obras (#5) in Buenos Aires in the next round. Berazategui's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Obras.
